Developers are Building CollarQuest LAND
CollarQuest’s Ariomont is the homeland of SPARC-Es, divided into tokenized plots of land that serve as homes and bases of operation for these unique creatures. Players can upgrade their plots over time using various resources and crafting ingredients found while playing the game. Landowners may also discover COLLAR, TAG or GeM tokens on their plots or utilize the SPARC-E occupying the land to explore resource nodes, potentially finding more tokens and other resources.
In addition to managing their land, players can engage in real-time PvE battles against evil SPARC-Es known as Fierce Opponent Emulators (FOEs). Defeating FOEs yields valuable rewards such as resources, items, and blueprints that can be used to upgrade both land and individual SPARC-Es.
Ariomont comprises 127,001 plots of land, each represented as Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) that can be freely traded by players. The land gameplay is still under active development and will be released in phases. Phase one focuses on the mentioned gameplay features, while phase two will transform Ariomont into a virtual world with user-generated content. Players will be able to create games using the Ariomont SDK and place them on their owned land.
Purchasing multiple Land-chests at once is possible, with players able to buy up to 100 chests of the same type in a single transaction. The placement of the land on the map is determined by an algorithm, and all land bought in the same transaction will be situated next to each other within the same region.
The advantage of having connected land plots includes meeting structure space requirements, faster travel for SPARC-Es on owned land, easier management and viewing of connected plots, and certain items providing benefits to SPARC-Es on connected lands.
Each plot of land consists of 64 blocks (8x8), and different items and structures in Ariomont have specific space requirements. Inception Land, situated at the center of the map, is rare and limited to 220 plots, and its owners receive a share of the resources collected there.
The tradability of land in Quadrant 1 will be announced after the launch of CollarQuest Land gameplay. Initially, each plot can accommodate 3 SPARC-Es, but upgrades can be made to hold more by constructing specific structures.
Players will find blueprints for various structures across Ariomont while defeating FOEs. These structures have specific demands, including time, block size, and resources required for construction. Larger and more advanced structures may demand a substantial amount of time and space, necessitating cooperation with fellow guild-mates.
